Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a leading organization in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounts receivable, along with a proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and certified letter preparation.
  • Process remote deposits through designated portals and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Sort and organize incoming mail to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with team members to address client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using ERP systems.
  • Assist with administrative tasks to support the overall efficiency of the department.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all financial transactions.
  • Work closely with the accounts receivable team to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Requirements
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial role.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and other financial software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle cash activity and reconcile discrepancies effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Experience with preparing certified letters and managing remote deposits.
  • Proficiency in sorting and managing physical and electronic mail.
