This individual will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain financial systems by establishing a chart of accounts and defining bookkeeping policies and procedures. Verify, allocate, and post transactions to maintain subsidiary accounts. Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank accounts, A/R, A/P, credit cards, loans payable, payroll liabilities, and payroll expenses. Transfer subsidiary account summaries to the general ledger. Prepare trial balances and reconcile entries to ensure accuracy of financial records. Maintain historical financial records through organized documentation and filing. Prepare and present financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account data and trends. Collaborate with team members to support overall company goals and initiatives.
