A top CPA firm in the area is looking to add a Bookkeeper totheir team. This stable and growing firm offers clients valuableknowledge and expertise in tax. Due to the recent growth of thefirm, there is an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join a team ofhighly motivated staff.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintainfinancial records and documents such as invoices, receipts, andbank statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy offinancial data.
- Prepare and process payroll for employees.
- Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entriesand financial statement preparation.
- Collaborate with the team toanalyze financial data and provide recommendations forimprovements.
Position Essential Job Functions:
- Proficiently useaccounting software and tools to accurately record and processfinancial transactions.
- Perform data entry and ensure timely andaccurate recording of financial information.
- Communicate withclients and vendors to resolve any accounting-related issues.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and maintain compliancewith industry standards.
Qualifications Include:
- 2 years ofexperience in accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Strong knowledge ofaccounting principles and practices.
- Associates degree inAccounting.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (QuickBooks,etc.).
- Attention to detail and ability to work with numbersaccurately.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
