Accounts Receivable Processor is responsible for the accurate and timely input and processing of all type of payments, adjustments, write-offs, etc.
Accounts Receivable Processor Duties:
Process accounts receivable transactions while maintaining appropriate transaction/account notes Ensure that all cash is applied daily Participates in the formulation of accounts receivable strategies Ensures that all customer information is accurate and timely resolve all inquiries or non payment Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions Cross train on the duties of the other AR processors Excellent understanding of the accounts receivable functions within the POS Ensures department is running effectively and works with management on department efficiency plan. Ensures department is in compliance with Company document retention plan and that all old documents are properly disposed of Continually monitors Unapplied payments to ensure unapplied payments are kept at a minimum Continually monitors Teamwork to ensure all tickets are being completed within deadlines and accurately Maintaining a good relationship with store/branch management and divisional management Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner. Attend all training classes
Accounts Receivable Processor Qualifications:
High School Diploma 3-5 years of previous accounts receivable experience and business skills Strong computer skills and proficient in use of Windows based computer software and the use of spreadsheets Ability to prioritize work and multi task under pressure Ability to meet established deadlines along with excellent organizational, planning and leadership skills Able to independently identify and solve difficult and complex problems Detail oriented and exhibits proper management of time. Good motivation and communication skills as well as the ability to exercise good judgement May be required to work weekend and overtime to ensure established deadlines are met.
