The ideal candidate would have a thorough understanding of accounting, office practices and be able to work independently. Flexible hours are available. Responsibilities Work alongside our different departments, and enjoy interacting with foreign university students that work with us during the summer. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and financial statements. Monitor cash flow and prepare and reconcile bank statements Assist CPA with year-end audits Employment requests AP monitoring Manage corporate and employee insurance policies and bids; along with insurance audits Prepare and file rooms & meals tax and ensure timely payments of all taxes Manage any continuing utility contract Experience General overall office knowledge of correspondence and communications Associate’s degree in Accounting or proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Experience in Quickbooks, ADP and MS Office a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
