Job Description
Vendor Payment Analyst Laconia Housing Laconia, NH 03246 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles, along with proficiency in relevant software applications. Duties Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions. Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Ensure proper coding of expenses are accurate. Perform reconcilation to maintain accurate financial records. Handle inquiries from vendors regarding payment status and account discrepancies. Skills Strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles. Knowledge of technical accounting practices and bookkeeping. Ability to accurately perform debits and credits in financial transactions. Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry. Able to use EXCEL for spreadsheet management are required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Good communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
