Accounts Payable Clerk Position Available In Carroll, New Hampshire

Description We are in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry and are presently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Moultonborough, New Hampshire, 03254, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring accurate data entry, maintaining up-to-date AP files and records, and handling vendor payment inquiries. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of vendor invoices using QuickBooks Desktop
• Matching invoices with corresponding purchase orders and receiving documents
• Securing necessary approvals prior to payment processing
• Preparing and executing check runs and electronic payments
• Reconciliation of vendor statements and resolution of any discrepancies
• Maintenance of organized and current AP files and records
• Assistance with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable
• Effective communication with vendors regarding payment inquiries
• Support of other accounting tasks and special projects as needed. Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Accounts Payable role.
• Proven ability to perform account reconciliations.
• Prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
• Demonstrated proficiency in executing check runs.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in processing invoices efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with ability to create spreadsheets and perform complex calculations.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software for managing and recording financial transactions.
