This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with experience within a paper-based accounting system. Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant Process accounts receivable transactions (invoices and collections) Enter labor into cost system Prepare spreadsheets and reports Maintain cash receipts Reconcile balance sheet accounts Assist with month-end journal entries Serve as backup for accounts payable and purchase order entry Qualifications of the Accounting Assistant 2-3 years of accounting assistant experience Strong attention to detail and highly organized Proficient in Excel Experience in paper-based accounting The Accounting Assistant works Monday through Thursday from 9:00am-3:00pm and Friday from 9:00am-4:30pm for $28-$32/hour, DOE.
