Full Job Description Role:

To support the financial function and operations of the credit union through timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable. Maintenance of accounting records and reports. Establishes and maintains prepaid/accrued expenses.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Collects invoices for all cost centers, codes to the proper vendors and general ledger accounts and routes through Nautilus Workflow. Ensures management review and payment approval. Processes check/ACH payments and manages the annual reporting of 1099 tax forms to vendors. Maintains and completes daily AP ACH GL and other GLs as assigned. Establish new prepaid/accrued expenses and performs monthly processing and reconciliation of the same. Completes month-end expense analysis and other GL reconciliations as assigned. Remit tax payment twice per week. Responsible for paying and reconciling corporate credit cards, which includes distributing statements, gathering/verifying receipts and coding and reconciling. Continues to create efficiencies within the Accounts Payable function. Write and maintain procedures for functional area. Organize and maintain the supply ordering function for TCU banking supplies and toner. Assists with the process of wire transfers for both originating and verifying. Perform other duties, as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Education (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program. Interpersonal Skills Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information. Other Skills Functional with Microsoft Excel/Word and acute attention to detail. Physical Requirements Able to lift 10 pounds.
