Full Charge Bookkeeper 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Goffstown, NH 03045 We are a small, plastic manufacturing company located in Goffstown NH and we are looking for the ideal candidate to fill our Full Charge Bookkeeper role. The ideal candidate for this position is looking for an opportunity to take charge and wear multiple hats. They must be outgoing, positive, have good communication, comfortable training others, and learning! This employee will be a Full Time employee responsible for all Accounting aspects of the job including supervising the AR/AP Admin as well as Month End, Quarter End, Year End close, Journal Entries, Dept. Allocations, and the preparation of Monthly Financials, as well as other administrative tasks as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Month End, Quarter End, Fiscal Year End and Calendar Year End accounting responsibilities Supervise the AR/AP Admin Run weekly PR in house, which includes filing of PR Tax Reports, SUTA, FUTA and FICA Handling preparation for Tax Returns Perform financial audits as required Maintain company bank accounts and process transfers as needed Cash Flow requirements Prepare Journal Entries and account reconciliations for monthly financials Maintain current knowledge of Department of Labor Rules and Regulations as it pertains to the company Other Administrative duties as assigned General Qualifications To perform this job successfully, the individual must have a professional and courteous manner with all customers, employees, vendors and business partners. Must have very strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle conflict and communicate effectively with customers, staff, management and outside sources. Individual must have good organizational and analytical skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work load. Education Must have administrative office experience in some related area, in Accounting. A minimum of a High School diploma is required along with some Office or HR experience. An Associate’s Degree in an Accounting related field is required, a Bachelor’s Degree is a plus. Experience working in a Manufacturing environment also a plus! Maintain current knowledge of Department of Labor Rules and Regulations as well EEO, ADA, OSHA and all other governing agencies and regulations as it pertains to the company. Additional Qualifications Must be proficient in using ERP systems such as Global Shop Solutions, Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. The most successful candidate will have experience in a Manufacturing environment.
