Accounts Payable Specialist 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Dover, NH 03820 AMP United is a full service contractor supporting the United States Navy locally and across the country. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Implements, maintains, and reviews vendor and subcontractor invoices to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments. Ensures accurate and timely processing of purchase order reconciliations. Prepares and maintains accurate vendor records. Supports audits by providing records and documentation to auditors. Identifies and recommends updates to vendor payment applications, systems, and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of accounts payable functions Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or related field required. At least three to five years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
