You’ll join the collaborative team at a nurturing educational facility that supports individuals with special needs. Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper Process accounts receivable and payable, and serve as primary contact for related inquiries Perform petty cash and credit card audits Research and code transactions Draft schedules for audits Prepare annual 1099s Maintain accurate financial records Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications of the Bookkeeper 3+ years of accounting experience Associate degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited college, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Outstanding attention to detail and grace under pressure Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Background in education or similar a plus Team player with strong communication skills Commitment to the organization’s mission Adherence to confidentiality Valid driver’s license Ability to obtain and maintain certification in First Aid, CPR, and CPI This Bookkeeper opportunity works 20 hours per week.
