Half Days Description:
We are a small, established business in Teaneck, NJ seeking a reliable and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper / Controller-type professional to manage our accounting needs on a part-time basis
- either one full day per week or two half days (schedule flexible during business hours).
This is a hands-on, on-site role (not remote). We’re looking for someone who can work independently and has experience handling the full accounting cycle.
Responsibilities include:
Full cycle bookkeeping: A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, general ledger Monthly close and financial reporting Payroll coordination Sales tax filings Budget tracking and cash flow reporting Liaison with CPA and ownership
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or Controller Proficiency in QuickBooks (or comparable software) Strong understanding of GAAP Organized, detail-oriented, and discreet with financial data
Compensation:
$25+/hour
