Accounting Clerk Collingswood, NJ 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars 50 Ferry Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08103 Duties Process high volume invoices in a timely manner. Performs accurate data entry for AP and AR. Ensure proper documentation and approval on all vendor invoices. Coordinate check run and distribution. Administrative support such as filing, faxing, scanning, etc. Responsible for reconciliation of vendor accounts. Supports the cash application process ensuring accurate posting of customer payments. Secondary support for deductions analyst. Execute a range of standard and specialized clerical and accounting tasks within the accounting department. Responsible for daily trips to the post office and occasional trips to the bank to make deposits. Other responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word. Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion. Food Industry experience preferred . Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and in a team setting. Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in accounts payable. Experience in ERP accounting transaction systems preferred.

High School diploma or equivalent Proficient Microsoft Suite/Outlook/Excel Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting. Frequent use of hands and fingers. Ability to lift and carry files, reports, and office materials up to 15lbs. Visual Acuity to read invoices and computer screens. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching.
