Full Charge Bookkeeper Position Available In Ocean, New Jersey

Description Robert Half is partnering with one of its clients for a Full Charge Bookkeeper role in Monmouth County. Excellent opportunity to join a tenured team and contribute to the financial health of a long standing local organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage month-end close processes.
• Oversee commission calculations and ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Process payroll, including verifying employee hours and maintaining compliance with regulations.
• Maintain ownership of the general ledger, ensuring data integrity and proper classification of transactions.
• Assist Management team with annual budgets and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making.
• Record and post journal entries while maintaining accurate and organized financial records. Requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including general ledger management and journal entries.
• Experience with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation.
• Ability to process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Skilled in performing bank and credit card reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
• Proven ability to prepare annual budgets and conduct cash flow analysis.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping role is strongly preferred.
