Full Job Description Sweet Pie Ventures, LLC Job Description Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting managers and employees by assisting with daily office needs, managing general administrative tasks, and handling multiple responsibilities effectively. This position is non-exempt under the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked over 40 in a single workweek.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an organized filing system. Order and oversee office supplies. Maintain contact lists, employee records, and inventory. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and external clients. Generate and distribute memos, emails, letters, forms, and faxes. Arrange meetings, schedule appointments, and coordinate interviews. Provide front desk coverage by answering and directing phone calls.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Assistant. An Associate’s degree is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is required. Familiarity with office equipment such as printers. Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Professionalism and a commitment to outstanding customer service. A self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills.
