CAU is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our diverse and mission-driven Accounting Department! In this vital role, you’ll help ensure the smooth, accurate, and timely processing of our financial operations—all while working in a supportive and inclusive environment.

What You’ll Do:
Manage the full accounts payable process, including timely and accurate check processing
Oversee payments for utility bills, corporate credit cards (Amex, PNC), and more
Maintain PEX systems for food, fuel, petty cash, and program cards—including reconciliations
Prepare vouchers and process rent payments for members
Accurately post deposits, journal entries, and general ledger entries
Support agency inspections and investigations as needed
Pitch in with other duties to keep our department running smoothly

What You Bring:
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to interact with diverse individuals, including those with disabilities and at-risk youth
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
Solid math skills and attention to detail
Access to a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
