Role:

We’re hiring a Supervising Bookkeeper to lead and manage a remote team of bookkeepers. This role involves reviewing client work, coaching team members, and ensuring consistent quality and timeliness across deliverables. If you’re experienced in bookkeeping, comfortable managing others, and enjoy working virtually, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do:

Review and approve client financials, reconciliations, and reports Oversee the work of staff bookkeepers and provide guidance as needed Handle escalations and resolve issues related to client accounts Train and onboard new team members Help maintain internal processes and improve workflow efficiency Liaise directly with clients for review calls or questions

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (QuickBooks Online required) 2+ years in a supervisory or review role Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Confident communicator who can support and lead a virtual team Comfortable using cloud-based tools like Gusto, ClickUp, or similar Must be located in the U.S. and available during standard business hours Nice to

Experience working in industries like real estate, design, or professional services Prior work in an accounting/bookkeeping firm QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification
