In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing and payment processes for patients and insurance providers to support the financial accuracy and efficiency of our center’s operations. This includes posting payments, following up on outstanding accounts, verifying insurance benefits, and assisting with general office duties. Key Responsibilities Follow up on insurance claims and document account activity Monitor and pursue outstanding patient balances Escalate billing or collections issues as needed Verify insurance benefits and coverage prior to procedures Communicate verification results to scheduling and office staff Handle incoming business office calls professionally Provide patient cost estimates and financial counseling Investigate and process patient and insurance refunds Perform other clerical tasks as assigned Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare billing environment Knowledge of insurance claims, denials, and reimbursement Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance Why Join Us?
