Description Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all vendor invoices, ensuring that payments are accurate and timely. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day financial operations of the organization and collaborate with a dynamic team.
Requirements Key Responsibilities:
+ Match, verify, and process invoices for payment in accordance with company policies and procedures. + Ensure timely and accurate coding of invoices to the appropriate accounts. + Prepare and schedule vendor payments (checks, wires, and ACH transfers). + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. + Maintain accurate and organized records, including filing invoices and payment documentation. + Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong relationships with vendors. + Assist with month-end closing, including account reconciliations. + Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve invoice or payment issues.
Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus. +
Experience:
Previous experience in accounts payable or a related role is strongly preferred. Familiarity with bookkeeping and financial processes is a plus. +
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. +
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with vendors and internal teams.
