We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for numbers, strong communication skills, and the ability to ensure timely and accurate collection of payments. Requirements Key Responsibilities:
Process and record incoming payments in the accounting system. Prepare and send invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures. Monitor customer accounts and aging reports to identify overdue balances. Follow up with clients via phone, email, or mail to resolve outstanding invoices and collect payments. Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies with clients or internal teams. Maintain accurate and organized records of all account activity, invoices, and correspondence. Manage customer account setups and updates, ensuring proper documentation. Provide support to the finance team during audits and month-end close processes. Collaborate with other departments to address billing or payment issues.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. An Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related accounting role preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
