Accounts Payable Clerk Position Available In Monroe, New York

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Rochester, New York. This Contract-to-permanent position offers a great opportunity to contribute to a growing organization within the healthcare industry. In this role, you will support the Accounts Payable and Finance Department by managing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and clerical support for the Accounts Payable and Finance Department.
• Execute daily processes and controls with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal business partners.
• Assist with both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Open, sort, and distribute incoming department mail.
• Organize, log, photocopy, and file invoices, checks, and other financial documents.
• Verify, log, and process checks, including managing special handling requests.
• Participate in special projects as assigned to support departmental goals. Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other related tools.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable processes and procedures.
