The company manufactures cases and holsters for the medical and military markets as well as distributing medical supplies to a number of different markets. We are seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist to support our accounting team. This role will primarily support the accounting department. The position reports directly to the Controller. The AP/AR Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely payments, and effective collections, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:

Accurately process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies quickly Maintain organized and up-to-date AP records Prepare and process electronic payments and check runs Support month-end close with accurate AP reporting

Accounts Receivable:

Generate and distribute customer invoices promptly Monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances Apply payments accurately and maintain clean AR ledgers Investigate and resolve billing issues efficiently Prepare A/R aging reports and assist with cash flow projections Special projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with ERP system and accounting procedures. Solid mathematics skills. Ability to detect numerical errors. Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing. Possess good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrate an aptitude for learning. Work well in a team environment Ability to work independently. Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of relevant experience in
