Accounting Summary of Position :
: The Bookkeeper is responsible for helping to maintain company’s financial records, inputting and tracking transaction, and financial reporting. This position will complete auditing and reconciliation of both payroll and accounting records.
Compensation:
: $23-$26 based on experience
Payroll Responsibilities :
: Complete daily payroll for field crew into Sage, track hours and verify travel on GPS Ensure equipment and projects are linked to the correct number of hours for each crew Perform payroll and benefit related reconciliations Filing as needed Complete reports as needed for payroll purposes Other duties as assigned by manager
Accounting Responsibilities :
: A/R payment postings in Sage and customer files Process early payment discounts Complete billing for departments Track loan payments Complete loan reconciliation and forecasting Track bank transfers Collections and A/R forecasting Perform bank reconciliations Perform General Ledger account reconciliations Complete Sales Tax reporting, reconciliations & filing Hold, process and reconcile all petty cash transactions Complete Warehouse PO’s Backup A/P when needed Create various reports as needed Other duties as assigned by manager

Job Skills & Qualifications:
: High School Diploma / GED Associate’s Degree in Accounting 1-2 years of Construction Industry experience 1-2 years of experience in an Intermediate Accounting position 1-2 years of Payroll experience Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of Sage 300 software is a plus
