Accounts Payable Specialist TemPositions Group of Companies Garden City, NY 11530 Accounts Payable Specialist The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices. Reach out to vendors requesting vendor’s W9 and asking if it would be possible to have invoices emailed Sorting and categorizing invoices in document software based on date, vendor, purchase order, and amount in each company Verifying invoices for accuracy to be entered into fleet management software Confirm Branches have received goods or services in fleet management software Enter invoices validating quantities and costs match what Branches have received Proven working experience in Accounts Payable Solid understanding of accounting principles as they relate to accounts payable Data entry skills, along with a knack for numbers Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software Proficiency in MS Office High degree of accuracy and attention to detail We are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
