As the Accounts Receivable Specialist , you willjoin our dynamic accounting team that is rapidly growing. Thisposition offers a clear growth track within our finance departmentfor motivated professionals. The ideal candidate will generate andsend customer invoices, statements, and payment reminders whilemaintaining strong customer relationships. This role requiresexceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, andthe ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Processing:
Prepare,post, verify, and record customer payments with precision andaccuracy
Collections Management:
Review accounts on a weekly basisto assess aging and pursue collection of funds
Deduction Analysis:
Research customer deductions and verify their accuracy throughthorough investigation
Data Management:
Update and maintaincustomer master files with current information
DiscrepancyResolution:
Research invoice discrepancies (price, quantity, other)with appropriate functional team members
Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain relationships with new and existingcustomers
Month-End Procedures:
Meet monthly close deadlines withaccurate financial reporting
Customer Service:
Handle customercollections, record payments, and respond to inquiries promptly
Reporting:
Generate ad-hoc reports upon request for management andother departments
Team Support:
Perform other finance-relatedduties as assigned to support department objectives
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or higher preferred 3-5 years of accountsreceivable experience Knowledge of QuickBooks and MicrosoftDynamics Solid understanding of accounting principles and practicesProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strongattention to detail and commitment to accuracy Positive andenergetic attitude with excellent customer service orientation Highsense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines Demonstrated abilityto prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslySelf-motivated starter who can work independently and as part of ateam Resourceful and curious mind to investigate and resolvefinancial issues Prior food, beverage sector, or manufacturingexperience highly preferred
