Job Description
Part Time – Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Oyster Bay, NY 11771 Job Summary Tuesdays Required. Other days are flexible. Maintains records of accounts payable using our automated Accounts Payable system. Responsible for reviewing and processing weekly payroll. Job Tasks 1. Collects and scans invoices into our automated accounts Payable system. 2. Ensures correct coding of invoices before export from automated accounts payable to general ledger accounting system. 3. Complies and maintains credit applications for vendors. 4. Processes all bills for payments in the automated accounts payable system. 5. Manages all credit memos to assure that no incorrect charges are paid. Reconciles the open payable at month end with the general ledger balances. 6. Maintains the following accounts payable records: (a). Vendor files – including W-9’s (b). Accounts Payable Trial Balance (3). Check Register 7. Responsible for processing weekly payroll vis Paychex. 8. Maintains all personnel records and ensures that the necessary payroll forms are complete and filed for each employee. Maintains time and attendance, absentee and leave via Paychex. Reports to
