Account Receivable Specialist EnviroNYC New York, NY Duties Manage accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections. Process and record incoming payments accurately in accordance with company policies. Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a professional manner. Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports related to accounts receivable activities. Support telemarketing and email efforts by reaching out to clients for payment reminders or updates on outstanding invoices. MUST have experience with QuickBooks MUST have 1-2 years of experience with Collections and Bookkeeping Skills Strong understanding of GAAP principles and their application in accounts receivable processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Proficient in data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with coding invoices and understanding basic financial concepts is beneficial. Technical accounting skills that enable efficient handling of accounts and financial records management. Previous experience as a clerk or in a similar accounting role is an advantage.
