Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in New York, New York. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate invoice processing and payment management. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in accounts payable and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Process 50-100 invoices weekly with precision and attention to detail.
• Enter financial data into systems to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Manage timely payments of invoices to vendors and suppliers.
• Utilize basic Microsoft Excel skills for data organization and reporting.
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
• Conduct check runs and ensure proper documentation of payments.
• Code invoices correctly to align with company standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth financial operations.
• Work with accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks for efficient data management. Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.
• Proficiency in invoice processing and coding.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with accounting software, including Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations effectively.
• Experience with check runs and payment procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
