NYOPH is a growing Ophthalmology Practice dedicated to excellence, integrity, and efficiency. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team and help us maintain accurate and timely financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and proper documentation. Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies. Schedule and prepare payments (ACH, checks, wire transfers) Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Support month-end and year-end closing processes Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls. Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve issues. Run and Maintain Company Payroll. Time Keeping.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting (1-3 years preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
