Bookkeeper/Administrator Position Available In New York, New York

Bookkeeper/Administrator Odelia Jewelry 62 West 47th Street, New York, NY 10036 We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for basic bookkeeping duties like AR and AP, payments, barcode preparation, record keeping and ensure accuracy in all data. This role also entails communication with our accounting staff in India. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices preparation Perform wire transfers domestic and international Prepare reconciliations to ensure accuracy of bank balances. Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Enter inventory in the system and prepare barcode tags for each unit Excel database updates Process returns and inventory Requirements College Degree or course in accounting preferred. Strong knowledge of debits and credits Bilingual, English/Hindi a plus. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
