New York, NY SUMMARY This role will play an integral part in FP&A and other strategic initiatives for the company. The position will be responsible for providing thoughtful product to internal and external stakeholders that helps drive key business outcomes. This position offers a high level of visibility within the Senior Management Team. Responsibilities include production of financial planning, analysis, forecasting and reporting, as well as special projects and ad hoc requests as needed. There is also a high level of interaction with other key stakeholders in the business including: Investor Relations, Capital Markets, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Treasury, IT, Asset Management and Investments. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintaining the Company’s corporate financial model for forecasting short, medium and long-term strategic capital and financial planning. Analyzing financial projections for the purposes of capital planning, liquidity management, asset & liability matching and other strategic corporate initiatives. Enhance reporting disclosures from asset level detail modeling for internal and external purposes from working with originators, asset managers, accounting, investor relations, legal, tax, etc. Create presentations for key stakeholders, including quarterly Earnings Supplement, Board of Directors, Audit Committee, senior management, other corporate stakeholders, etc. Prepare and analyze budgets to ensure costs are tracked and optimized. Develop financial and portfolio analysis quarterly and on an ad hoc basis for senior management and work closely with IT on data requests and buildout. Lead and complete various miscellaneous ad hoc projects as identified.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates will have 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance or economics. Solid financial modeling skills, including professional work experience with three statement financial models that include a balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows. In-depth knowledge of financial statement analysis. Excellent understanding of corporate finance concepts such as cost of capital, discounted cash flow, and other valuation methodologies, debt and equity capital market functions, as well as fundamental GAAP accounting concepts. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Comfortable analyzing large amounts of data sets. Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized and self-motivated. Ability to work well in a team environment and develop strong relationships internally and externally. Clear track record of excellence in work product, professionalism, and communication. Experience working in a public company environment is a plus.

Total Compensation:

$135,000 -$175,000 (includes base salary + participation in performance incentive program) The total compensation salary range for this role is posted. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Additionally, company employees may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility, and Company approval.
