Controller Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior
Accounts Associate to support our accounting
operations. The ideal candidate will manage general
ledger activities, submit weekly payrolls oversee
accounts payable/receivable functions, assist with
month-end closings, and ensure compliance with
internal controls and financial policies. This position
plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records
and supporting financial reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on
    a monthly basis.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjusting
    entries as needed.
  • Review and submit weekly payrolls.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts
    receivable processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, payment
    processing, and collections.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end
    closing processes.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements
    and management reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for expense
    tracking and cost allocations.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation
    for reporting and tax filings.
  • Review and improve accounting processes and
    internal controls.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting
    roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,
    Restaurant 365 or similar).
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data
    reconciliation).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management
    skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-
    oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional
    collaboration.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in hospitality is a plus.
  • Familiarity with payroll, sales tax filings, and
    intercompany transactions.
Compensation Details Compensation:

Salary ($75,000.00 – $80,000.00)
