Accounts Payable Clerk/Administrative Assistant Tolpa’s Auto Parts 10729 French Road, Remsen, NY 13438 Tolpas Auto Parts is looking to ADD to our great accounting team!!! An accounts payable (AP) clerk manages a company’s financial obligations to vendors and service providers. They process invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions. Their role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities of an
AP Clerk:
Invoice Processing:
Receiving, verifying, and processing invoices for payment.
Payment Processing:
Ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining organized records of all payable transactions.
Reconciliation:
Reconciling invoices with purchase orders and other relevant documentation.
Skills Needed:
Attention to
Detail:
Accuracy is critical when processing invoices and payments.
Organization:
Managing a high volume of invoices and transactions requires strong organizational skills.
Communication:
Effective communication is needed for interacting with vendors and other internal teams.
Accounting Knowledge:
