Accounts Receivable Meyda Lighting 55 Oriskany Boulevard, Yorkville, NY 13495 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk/Customer Service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate financial records and customer service duties. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities Manage and maintain accounts receivable records, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Process incoming payments and apply them to the appropriate accounts. Conduct account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Prepare and send out invoices to clients in a timely manner. Follow up on outstanding invoices and negotiate payment terms when necessary. Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues. Utilize financial software for tracking payments and generating report. Experience Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role is preferred. Experience with account reconciliation processes is highly desirable. Ability to effectively negotiate payment terms with clients.
