Accounts Receivable Clerk 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Liverpool, NY 13090 We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team in a temp to hire role. This role is responsible for overseeing the reconciliation of transactions, processing invoices, managing revenue recognition tasks, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data. Key Responsibilities :

Reconciliation :

Reconcile daily funding files from third-party payors to bank payment and settlement files, identifying and resolving discrepancies with precision. Perform daily reconciliation of credit card receipts and gift card activity, preparing journal entries accordingly.

Transaction Processing :

Enter transactions in Netsuite for proper accounting treatment of customer check and credit card refunds. Activate and mail promotional gift cards.

Auditing and Invoicing :

Audit invoices, delivery charges, fees, and payments related to the revenue recognition cycle and sales tax on invoices. Verify tax-exempt customers and update order statuses. Invoice commercial customers with payment terms.

Credit Balances and Reporting :

Monitor credit balances on accounts and process unclaimed fund transactions and filings. Maintain and prepare reports and financial summaries upon request.

Month-End Close :

Support a smooth month-end close process by meeting deadlines and submitting accurate data.

Customer Support :

Manage and respond to over 150+ retail stores’ customer care inquiries and requests.

Additional Functions :

Complete ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as required based on evolving business needs. Adhere to company privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

Education :

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and training preferred.

Experience :

Minimum of 3 years in accounting, accounts receivable, or collections. Experience with revenue recognition billing preferred.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with Netsuite or similar ERP systems is a plus.
