Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Phelps, New York. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in managing essential financial operations, ensuring accuracy in records, and supporting the organization’s overall fiscal health. Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date transaction records.
• Oversee bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining general ledgers.
• Input and verify financial data with precision and attention to detail.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and manage financial reports.
• Handle payroll processing and ensure timely employee payments.
• Assist with month-end close activities to finalize financial statements.
• Operate QuickBooks to track and manage financial activities.
• Collaborate with team members to improve financial workflows. Requirements
• Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial record management.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping practices.
• Skilled in data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting.
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and payroll systems.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively.
