Accounts Payable Clerk 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars East Elmhurst, NY 11370 We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in East Elmhurst, New York. This role requires a high level of accuracy and efficiency to manage daily invoice processing and support the department’s operational needs. Responsibilities:

Process a high volume of invoices daily, with a minimum target of 150 entries per day. Ensure all invoice data is accurately entered into the system for timely payments. Maintain and organize records of accounts payable transactions. Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies. Utilize Sage Timberline software to manage accounts payable functions effectively. Support the department with additional administrative tasks as needed. Assist in reconciling vendor statements and resolving payment issues. Monitor invoice approvals and follow up with necessary departments to ensure timely processing. Contribute to improving workflows and identifying opportunities for efficiency. Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar data entry role. Proficiency in Sage Timberline software or similar accounting tools. Strong numeric data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to process a high volume of invoices daily with accuracy. Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Competence in working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and vendors.
