The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. A major component of the job will be to oversee Accounts Payable and reviewing invoices to ensure accuracy, working with vendors to adjust accordingly. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and managing journal entries. Process accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between company records and bank statements. Monitor and manage debits and credits to maintain balanced accounts. Prepare financial reports to assist management in decision-making processes. Collaborate with public accounting firms during audits and tax preparation. Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency. Experience Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role is preferred. Strong knowledge of financial concepts, GAAP principles, and accounting practices. Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with accounts payable processes and journal entry management. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
