FULL TIME
Reconciliation Clerk in our Saratoga Springs office! Work Four 10 hour days!! The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Summary:
The Reconciliation Clerk position consists of performing a variety of clerical accounting functions, such as counting and balancing cash transactions, reconciling driver loads, and managing cash receipts. This job requires some flexibility, working a shift starting at 9:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Essential Functions (must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation): Reconcile all driver loads on a daily basis. Check back doors for variances. Process Cash Receipts. Complete the Cash Control Sheet. Making corrections to payment errors, invoices and after register pricing. Process employee sales. Process Special Pricing. Prepare bank deposits in accordance with company policies and procedures; researches deposit variances. Process Tomra/Clynck/Enivopco. First line of communication with drivers on a daily basis. Assists with distribution and tracking of company correspondence. Involved in any other related tasks as requested by the Credit Manager.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or relevant experience. One to two years of administrative experience, preferably in an accounting or banking function. Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Computer literacy including:
e-mail, internet, database inquiry and updating, spreadsheet software. Ability to verbally communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to write customer correspondence. Experience in setting up and organizing file systems and using office equipment.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
