Job description Job Overview We are seeking a detail-orientedand organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accountspayable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing ofinvoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. Thisrole is crucial in supporting our financial operations and requiresa solid understanding of accounting principles. Duties Process andmanage vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance withcompany policies. Perform data entry tasks related to accountspayable transactions in accounting software such as QuickBooks andExcel. Conduct general ledger accounting and reconciliation tomaintain accurate financial records. Collaborate with the humanresources department to ensure proper handling of employee-relatedexpenses. Assist in month-end closing activities by preparingnecessary reports and reconciliations. Maintain organized recordsof all accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes. Addressvendor inquiries regarding payments and resolve discrepancies in atimely manner. Support technical accounting functions as needed,contributing to overall financial reporting accuracy. ExperienceProven experience in an accounts payable or accounting clerk roleis preferred. Familiarity with accounting software such asQuickBooks and Excel. Strong data entry skills with attention todetail and accuracy. Knowledge of general ledger accountingprinciples and reconciliation processes. Excellent organizationalskills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strongcommunication skills to interact professionally with vendors andinternal teams.
