Bookkeeper:

As a Bookkeeper , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services to multiple clients across various industries. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll, reconciling accounts, and supporting the month-end close process. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile client accounts on a daily and weekly basis to ensure completeness and accuracy Record financial transactions from point-of-sale systems and maintain up-to-date accounting records Process weekly payroll and record payroll clearing entries Perform reconciliations of bank, credit card, and loan accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly Manage accounts payable, including recording invoices, debit memos, and issuing check payments Handle accounts receivable tasks such as invoicing, recording payments, credit memos, and customer refunds Use bank feeds and automated download features to streamline data entry and coding of accounts Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly profit and loss statements, identifying anomalies and improvement areas Assist with the preparation of payroll tax and sales tax filings to ensure compliance with regulations Support the monthly close process by reconciling payables, prepaids, and accruals Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 2-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a client-service environment Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and CCH Axcess Strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts Experience with journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes Excellent analytical and client service skills CPA certification is a plus

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
