Accounting Clerk Position Available In Westchester, New York

Description We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry and Billing Clerk to join our team in White Plains, New York. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-volume data processing tasks while working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input data from utility bills and invoices into designated systems.
• Handle a high volume of data entry tasks with efficiency and precision.
• Follow up with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain organized records and ensure all files are updated regularly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and workflows are optimized.
• Perform regular checks to verify data integrity and accuracy.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor system issues related to data entry processes.
• Adhere to company standards for confidentiality and information security.
• Provide periodic reports on completed tasks and any identified issues. Requirements
• Proven experience in data entry or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and other Office applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage high volumes of data efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for vendor follow-ups and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with invoice processing and utility bill documentation.
• Reliable and self-motivated with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
