POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for reconciling invoices for our TPM customers within a designated portion of the company’s accounts receivable portfolio. Other related activities include invoice processing within AP & AR and billing analysis. This position may also be involved with accounts receivable-related financial analysis and metrics reporting. In carrying out each of the functions related to this role the Accounting Specialist, TPM will be in direct contact with the company’s clients, both on the phone and through email. Other frequent communications will be essential with other department members and with other employees in the sales and service departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Invoice processing
- use the company’s accounting system to generate, review, post and distribute invoices to TPM customers daily. Account collections
- ongoing communication with customers via phone and email regarding the timely payment of their account balances. Account reconciliation
- frequent review and resolution of client balances. Customer information
- maintains up-to-date customer contact information in the collections systems.
Accounts Receivable-related financial analysis and metrics reporting.
EXPERIENCE
Prior Internships or Entry Level Financial Analysis
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science Degree
- Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related area of study are preferred.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Hands-on familiarity and aptitude with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics Navision a plus). Intermediate level of ability with Microsoft Office
- Excel and Word, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, time management, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
