Accounts Payable Clerk 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Coraopolis, PA 15108 We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of invoices, and supporting essential account reconciliation tasks. Responsibilities:
Process and verify invoices with accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Perform account reconciliation to maintain financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Manage check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers. Apply proper coding to invoices for seamless entry into financial systems. Conduct data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date and organized accounts payable records. Collaborate with internal teams to address invoice-related issues and inquiries. Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks for efficient processing. Prepare periodic reports related to accounts payable activities to support decision-making. Assist in streamlining accounts payable processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and reconciliation. Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing financial data. Solid understanding of coding invoices and data entry practices. Ability to manage check runs and ensure timely vendor payments. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
