Bookkeeper Gladiator Recycling Quakertown, PA 18951 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. This role is essential in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Duties Prepare and record journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections. Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees. Maintain the general ledger by recording debits and credits appropriately. Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure all accounts are balanced. Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data. Assist with governmental accounting requirements as necessary. Support public accounting functions when required, including audits and tax filings. Collaborate with corporate accounting teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Experience Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles. Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus. Proficiency in using accounting Quickbooks online software and Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
