Accounting Clerk/Customer Service Representative Great Valley Propane Malvern, PA 19355 • Hybrid work Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience with our company. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles, including experience with various accounting software. Responsibilities Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat. Provide accurate information regarding products and services. Assist customers with account management and troubleshooting. Process transactions and maintain accurate records in our systems. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently. Utilize accounting software such as Quick Books Online and Cargas for financial transactions. Perform monthly meter billing. Perform Commercial and Residential Collections. Back up for Accounting Department. Maintain a high level of professionalism while addressing customer concerns. Qualifications Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in an accounting or finance environment. Ability to answer the phones professionally. Familiarity with Cargas accounting software but will train. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles. Proficient in accuracy. Attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
