Schedule :

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm The opportunity. As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will initiate and manage various types of invoices and payment requests for external vendors and the department at large. Your daily responsibilities will include tasks such as setting up new vendor accounts, managing the invoicing and payment pipeline, communicating with vendors, preparing and reviewing wire transfers, and assisting with payment runs, reporting, and audits. Responsibilities you can expect. Post freight and vendor invoices and initiate payments on a timely basis, while identifying and resolving any issues in the workflow Communicate with vendors to verify, create, and update account information, complete credit applications, reconcile statements, and prepare and post wire transfers, while eliminating potential fraud Review, verify, and process expense reimbursement reports; create and manage vendor reports; process sales and use tax Initiate check runs according to schedule Assist with year-end processes and annual audit Create and maintain training documentation related to the position Additional duties as required

Requirements:

A few logistics. You can expect a normal office work environment. This includes sitting, standing, bending, reaching, a normal range of hearing and vision, and ability to lift up to 20 pounds. You’ll need manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment. Travel requirements are minimal (0-10%) to visit various local tradeshows and company events. You have this.
