Salary:

$55,000 – $80,000 per year A bit about us: Our client, aconstruction firm, is seeking a Bookkeeper/Accountant to join itsgrowing team. Why join us?

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspectsof day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including butnot limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, AIA billing,and bank reconciliation. 2. Coordinate and execute financialtransactions and activities, such as bill payment, invoicing,payroll, etc. 3. Prepare and maintain financial reports, performaccount reconciliations, assist with budget and close processes,conduct internal audits, and manage balance sheets and profit/lossstatements. 4. Review construction project invoices, ensure allfinancial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.5. Collaborate with the construction team to manage costs andimprove financial efficiency. 6. Ensure compliance with staterevenue service, federal and state payroll tax requirements andvoluntary deduction reports, process employment verification, andrespond to chargebacks. 7. Implement and adhere to companyfinancial procedures, including reporting and budgeting. 8. Preparemonthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements for review. 9.Assist with internal and external auditing procedures. 10. Identifyand address discrepancies in financial entries and reports.

JobDetails Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting,finance, or a related field is required. 2. 1 years relatedexperience, construction required. 3. Strong knowledge of generallyaccepted accounting principles. 4. Extensive experience with dataentry, record keeping, and computer operation. 5. Proficiency inMicrosoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks. 6. Ability to handleconfidential information in a discreet and professional manner. 7.Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, andcomfortable working independently. 8. Exceptional communicationskills, both verbal and written, are essential. Apply today!
