Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:

Process and issue payment for both the management and maintenance companies including vendor, utility and Maintenance invoicing.

Accounts Receivable:

Responsible for recording maintenance income in Quickbooks and marking work orders as paid in the Maintenance platform.

Payroll Support:

Assist with payroll processing for both the Maintenance and Management companies as required.

Timely Financial Reporting:

As required, support the Director of Maintenance and the Maintenance Bookkeeper by classifying transactions in our accounting software, assisting with invoice processing, receipt reconciliation and the categorization of other maintenance related transactions to ensure timely financial reporting and accuracy.

Department Support:

Assist with various administrative and accounting tasks, including organizing records, preparing reports, and maintaining databases. Your organizational skills will be essential in ensuring smooth operations within the Finance & Accounting Department.

Qualifications:

Strong aptitude for accounting: Ability to learn accounting processes quickly and adapt to new systems and software.

Detail-oriented:

Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accounting tasks are performed promptly and correctly.

Organizational skills:

Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask efficiently, and maintain accurate records.

Tech-savvy:

Proficiency in using property management software such as Quickbooks, online platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Customer service-oriented:

A friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to handle client and staff inquiries and concerns effectively.

Team player:

Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$24.00 – $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
